When fishing Snook its important to have a captain aboard your boat in an effort to make your catch easier. Our Snook get pretty big and the migration of Snook is always good in Large numbers of fish. The local Jetty fishing is really good at these times. Fall and spring is good for Migratory fishing around the Jetty's.
Snook like Live Shrimp, Live Mullet. And lures work really well. Large dive bomber lures work really well around Jetty's. Top water around Mangroves or Docks can be very enticing to the large mouth beast. Jetty fishing is allot different than Back country fishing when it comes to presentation on Snook.
Doa Shrimp can be deadly with a slow presentation around Structure in canals, Docks,
Or Structure like Mangroves. Skipping and doing it allot is very important when fishing Dock's or under Mangroves.
Look for large blasting like shotgun water breaks and cast to them early morning.
Temperature is always a factor with Snook. They like warm weather and if the temperature gets below 59 degrees they can be hard to find. They head for deeper waters
And only the strong larger fish survive.
